Niko Verona
Actor, Producer and Journalist Niko’s most recent works as an actor have been to appear in the cast of the three seasons of the series Sky Rojo (Netflix). His first leading role in cinema with the feature film ‘Standard‘; and in theater, we have saw him in ‘Someone Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, where apart from acting, he also participated in the design of the Artistic Proposal.
His theatrical career began in 2004 with the company Réplika Teatro, the same year in which he started the audiovisual production company Fanda Films together with director Fernando González Gómez, with whom, over the course of 15 years, he has produced more than thirty short films. It is precisely with this director he premiered ‘Standard‘ in 2019. In cinema, he has participated in films such as ‘Yucatán‘ (Daniel Monzón), ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces‘ (Alberto Rodríguez), ‘La Jefa‘ (Fran Torres), ‘Tini, the great change Violetta‘ (J.P. Buscarini), and more recently in ‘La Pasajera‘ and ‘Viejos‘, both films directed by Fernando González Gómez and Raúl Cerezo.
On television, we have seen him in series such as ‘Disappeared‘, ‘By H or by B‘, ‘Tell me who I am‘, ‘Mercado Central‘, ‘She is my father‘, ‘The Commissioner‘ and ‘SMS‘.
As a journalist, he has worked as an editor in various media, including the Newspaper El Mundo. He has been Chief Storyteller and Producer of the Audiovisual Creative Department of the MARCO communication agency.
As a Creative Producer, he has just founded the production company Varsovia Producciones together with the actress Carmen Ibeas, premiering his first show at the Teatro Principal de Burgos, the play ‘Aquellas migas de pan‘, co-produced with Kendosan Producciones, starring Mónica Bardem and Carmen Ibeas, and directed by the actress Inma Cuevas.
