Using genre cinema, we will squeeze our characters, the universes and situations that terror allows us to explore and make it the best scenario to work wide with radical arcs. We will base this course on the reinterpretation and analysis of mythical sequences of genre cinema; we will also work on training focused on body expression, energy and control of our body.
The sequences in the genre cinema are designed in a particular way, so the actor must know the narrative technique to function on a set with both physical and technical challenges – prosthetic makeup, wrestling, choreography and complex blockings. We will build victims and executioners, taking our characters to the expressive limit.
